Challenging 40 Target Tournament Readiness Match

George Gardner prepared a difficult 40 target course for Saturday's match.  The course proved to be a very challenging course for both Spring-Piston and Precharged competitors.

There was a three-way tie for match winner with no shoot-off.  George Gardner, Tommy Garland and Ken Hughes tied with a score of 31 of 40 targets.  With no shoot-off, David Still took first place in the Precharged class with a score of 30 of 40 targets.  Joel Hansel captured first place in the Spring-Piston class with a score of 24 of 60 targets.

GSR Final Preparation

Covington , GA  May 8, 1999

After Saturday's match, all AA match participants assisted in gathering field targets for fresh paint and artwork to be completed prior to Airgunning Atlanta's 1999 Georgia Southern Regionals scheduled for May 22nd and 23nd.

A total of 38 competitors have registered for the GSR match.  Two competitors had to cancel leaving only 4 open positions.
