Cold and Windy Challenge

George Gardner set up a new 60 shot course using 16 wooded lanes. using freshly painted field targets with English style white kill zones. Cold wind gusts of 15 miles per hour did not keep Tommy Garland and Ken Hughes from wining scores of 54 out of 60 shoots.

George Gardner used his new Pro-Target with the addition of a Premier Reticles/Leupold 20-50x scope. George easily took second place in the Precharged Class with a score of 50 of 60 targets.

Winston Smith won first place honors in the Spring Piston Class with a score of 38 of 60 shots.

Preparing for GSR

Saturday Clean up, February 20, 1999

A clean up schedule has been developed by George Gardner in preparation for the Georgia Southern Regional Field Target Match to be held May 22-23.

The following Saturdays are set aside in staging clean up efforts.

February 20   Lane clean up
March 20       Lane clean up and seating area work
April 24       Sight in range cleanup
May 15       Target preparation & fine tuning
